Bio
By night, Chris Golias is an aspiring fantasy author. By day, he is technology ethnographer who has conducted applied anthropological research across various areas including retail, healthcare, indigenous rights, substance use, e-commerce, governance, machine learning, and localization. He currently works for Google, where he leads international user experience research for Hardware, Photos, Android and Play, while crafting his debut novel, Plague and Fable, during the evenings. He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.
